Biology Teacher Westwood International School is a R -13 school, fully accredited by the Council of International Schools, the New England Association of School and Colleges and the International Baccalaureate Organisation. As such, it caters for the needs of the internationally mobile and internationally-minded community in Botswana. The International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes run by the school are student-centred and inquiry-based and require specific pedagogical methodology and training. The school also offers the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). All positions advertised by the school require applicants with understanding of inquiry-based pedagogical delivery and preferably knowledge and experience of the IB and/or IGCSE programmes. The successful candidate will teach students in the Middle Years Programme / Primary Years Programme to students in the Primary Years Programme, must have no less than two(2) years teaching experience in one or more of these programmes.
