The International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Diploma)

The IB Diploma is a comprehensive and challenging two year pre-university course that demands the best from motivated students and teachers.

Students (16 – 18 years old) must take six subjects: their language of instruction, a foreign language, a mathematics, a science, a humanities and an arts or to double up on a second mathematics, science, language or humanities.

Three subjects must be taken at higher level and three at standard level. Students also complete a study called Theory of Knowledge, complete an Extended Essay which is a research paper, and must engage in Creativity, Action and Service during the two year course.
